How To Get Deactivated from Tata Indicom

I want to get TIB deactivated. I told the customer care (on 29th may) to get it deactivated from immediate effect and they told me it will take them 24 hrs to process my request but I still can login using my details. So i suppose they still haven't deactivated it and now they have billed me with this month's bill. Should I pay this bill ??? What to do to get TIB remove the wires from my home ?

Dont pay the bill, and trust me they will not suite a case against you for not paying the bill. This is the best way to get disconnected.

freinds! I paid for 5 months and guess what ? I subscribed for 256 kbps connection and tata gave me not even a 50 kbps connection..And to add to it when I tried to register a complain with the tata people to get my problem sorted ..the customer care people sitting in hyderabad greeted me with verbal abuses..and the tata indicom broadband manager of kolkata disconnected the phone on my face..telling me that he is out of town...So remember if you land up in problem with some connection problems with tata indicom connection...Get ready for verbal abuses and some misbehaviours..in the site they say "Experience super- fast Internet from Tata Indicom Broadband. I want to know how you finally got deactivated

I went to their office personally and asked them to deactivate my account and it was done in 2 days. They told me tht their agent will come over and collect the router etc from my home but he never came 😉 . Also i didn't paid the bill for tht june month (which they charged me even when i asked for diconnection). Its very annoying tht u can apply for new connection on simply calling them but cannot diconnect by calling them.

Does that mean you still have the router and the stupid cables lying around...
