3G in Bangalore?

Launched idea 3g on 26/6/11 yesterday in bangalore ............ but sim not available from all stores ........... have to wait till july 15 to get sim............. no idea about plans also .......... still you can get sim from +917353023936 postpaid only..........

Until today i don't even see idea 3g network when i do a manual network search on my mobile, am i missing something ?

Choose vodafone In manual network 3g. coz idea has launched in agreement with Vodafone in Bangalore.

dosto bangalore me IDEA3G july 1 se avilable hai, aur VODAFONE3G august 5 se, matlab aaj se, dononko KARNATAKA ME 3g LICENCE NAHI HAI, donone AIRTEL3G KE SAAT MILKAR 3g SERVICE derahe hai.manual serch karne se IDEA3G ya VODAFONE3G network nahi milega kyoonki dono AIRTEL3G network se hi judte hai ROAMING NETWORK JAISA.

How is the 3G service in Bangalore? Any reviews from customers?
In my experience all 3g operators are offering good speeds and reliability, i have personally tried Airtel, Tata Docomo & Aircel in Bangalore & was happy with the performance - got speeds of about 5Mbps when using a UMG1831(21 Mbps Capable Card), situation may change when more & more users start using 3g. however the price point is what keeps me away from these providers.
On the other hand BSNL gives me a stable downlink of about 2Mbps at most time & is also cheaper than other providers but recharging process etc has a lot of issues even as they have been in business since 2009. I'm facing one of these BSNL website recharge issue as i write this & customer care is struggling to find the reason 🙁
