Fixed Wireless Cdma 1x Unlimited For Rs.500

I recently read that CDMA 1X services can be as competetive compared to wireline if it was a wireless in local loop. That is, no mobility allowed but you can take it within the coverage of a single tower. If such a very limited mobile service was launched, it would cost 40% less compared to fully mobile services (Thats what I read). So, Tarang or Rconnect would be able to offer 1 GB 144kbps for Rs.400 and may be unlimited 144 kbps access for Rs.900!Would you buy it if you dont have fixed broadband service in your area?Why are BSNL and Reliance not coming out with such plans?
