how to connect tata photon+ in ubuntu 9.1

first plug in your modem,open preferences,in that select network connections.in network connections, switch tab to mobile broadband,select add & in that pop up window, select Huawei technoligies & press forward.select country to india & forward & then select photon+ & select apply.in editing windownumber:#777username:internetpassword:internet, & select apply & go online

hi i am able to connect & surf through my photon+ intially in ubuntu 9.10 by following your suggestions. But sometimes it shows "tata photon+ connection" in the network connections list, but most of the time it don't appear there.and in such cases i need to remove the previous connection and add another.can anyone suggest some way so i don't need to remove the exisiting connection.Is there any problem with ubuntu 9.10. if it is then how this can be solved.thanks & regards,
