Try to figure out if that Java Applet is using any specific Port on your local machine. if yes, you would need to add that to port forward list.
if u r using any firewall, then u also need to add that port under ur global network.
localy all this might work without much of fuss !

I have been through that site before. I need about 50-60 cameras for a retail chain. Plustek IP1000 are available for about 5000. I need something cheaper. They are cheap stakes :p

Sir,I am Merchant Navy officer traveling on Indian Coast. Wish to view my home in Dehradun via internet. I think, I need 2 or 3 IP based wireless security cameras connected to a single wireless router. In turn, the router is on line via any wireless internet service provider such as Airtel/Reliance etc. And I need a software to moniter and control and switch over these cameras. I would also need a static IP etc etc.Above knowledge I have aquired on the net. Could any one please guide me thru the entire process. Namely, 1) Which ISP (Airtel etc) is the best and cost effective for this purpose.2) How can the system re-start working automatically after power failure. Daily power cuts are common in Dehradun.3) Which IP Camera and router is best, robust and low in price?4) Can I buy all this and get technical support in Dehradun or I have to buy all in Delhi?5) Please suggest an ISP wireless modem which does not need re-logging after power failure or switched off.Rakesh
