New Problem with Sify Broadband

For the past fewdays, when I login with either Sify’s Client or easysify, I get logged in, the balance starts reducing from my account but I am not able to browse or download anything…..then I have to logout and then relogin sometimes 4-5 times to be able to browse. The pings to gateway are absolutely fine and the prom seems to be at sify’s end…….anybody else having same proms…..interestingly the prom seems to have started concurrently with my change of SAM to 202.144.58.36

google_singh did you download a lot before you started to have this problem?I have faced this problem whenever I have continuously downloaded significant amounts of data for eg. downloading throughout the night and in the morning facing the same situation as you of being able to log-in but not browse.

Yes, I am having the same problem ... I called customer care and they say that they are recieving many such complaints ...Now, my SAM server is 202.144.58.36, and at the same time, I am downloading quite a bit these days. However, the problem happens even if I don't download a lot.

No i havnt downloaded a lot......and the prom is being faced by ujjwal as well/.......so it seems it is at sify's end.....but they are not able to repair it....it has been around 5-6 days now.

My SAM IP is 202.144.58.38 and .37 works too but I face a similar problem. For me though it only happens when I download a lot as I mentioned.

i just got my hardisk back from the samsung service center (it had crashed :( ) and since i renewed (three or four days ago) i have been recieving the same problem.. and weirder still.. whenever i use the fuc*ing client to log off it says "your session has expired" or some sh*t like that.. now there were a lot of problems with sify before but this really takes the cake.. will the refund us for the loss we're sustaining (by us i mean the unlimited plan users) because we pay by day and whether we use the service or not, our balance automatically reduces..this proves it officially.. the people at sify are a bunch of fa**ots

aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhwtf is wrong with this fu**ing piece of cr*p client... why the f**k did the faggots at sify have to change a web based login system that was so perfect and worked without a glitch????and while you are at it - why did the chicken cross the road?? :angry:

update - i just called the sify customer care centre for he first time i might add - and the response i got from them was very enthusiastic.. i was pleasently surprised especially after reading all the negative experiences the people from this froum have had with the cust care - and also the gentleman at the ssify called up my home twice to try to solve the problem.. i am happy to report that this problem has been solved.. i have been logged in for six hours now and have faced no problem with anything.. i turns out that my computer was infected with a virus that stopped me from browsing the internet.. and my antiviral program failed to detect it (am going to download norton now)Cheers Sify B)
