750 Gb Harddisk!

Tested my desktop as well. This one has just 512 MB RAM and only 250 MB is being used. But it took 50 secs to come out of hibernation 🙁

I have not looked at cleaning up or upgrading this PC for more then two years now. Looks like time has come.

Seagate is Planning to release 1TB (1 Terabyte = 1000GB) SATA HDD by the end of the year; and 2.5TB (2,500GB) Hard Disks by 2009! Looks good considering HD-DVDs and Blu-ray Disks eat 30-50GByte for each movie.

Holographic storage IMO is corporate targeted not for regular consumers, they will be using 300GByte Holographic Disks as a replacement for Tape Drives. HG Disks look like really old 5.25" Floppies 😛
