Worst Torrent Speed on bsnl broadband

BSNL 500 Combo
Recently I have shifted to new location and got new BSNL line with broadband. But I'm getting worst speed i.e.@12kb/s on my uTorrent. While my normal downloads are at good speed. I have attached screen-shot of uTorrent. Can anyone help?
I'm using Vista.

**I have checked speedguide but thats not helped much.

deepu ... r u downloading a healthy torrent ? ... no probs with ur settings 😀
 
I feel its probably because of poor no of seeds for the torrent. Please check the no of seeds your computer gets connected to (Not the total no of seeds that are available).
 

Torrent speed depend on seeder.If u r using public tracker and have 50 + seeder still there is chane to get low speed..try to use Private tracker and u will able to max out download speed very easily even torrent have less than 5 seeder..:urock:

hi there, can you please tell me how can i add "Private Tracker" to my torrents in "U-Torrent". i just read your this reply tht's why i am asking you.
actually i am also suffering through very low download speeds. if you can help me please with how to add private trackers in full details, i will be very thankful to you!!!!!!
 
Private torrents are nothing but the torrents which are downloaded from private torrent websites like bwtorrents.com etc while on the other hand a public torrent is the one which anyone can download without worrying but seeder to leecher ratio. example link-removed.In private torrents you will have to maintain good upload to download ratio. So people would keep seeding to improve their ratio and thus you can expect good speeds.
 
I still find link-removed to be the best. I have downloaded 99% of my torrents from link-removed. And to top it off, I seed for the torrents that I download from link-removed until my ratio is atleast 1.5 or more. You see, I seed for public torrents always...!! 😀😀
