Fraud or not?

Today one person came to my home and said, he is from TATA INDICOM Broadband service and that Tata Indicom is setting up their service in my area. He gave me some tariff plans including an unlimited download plan.Rs 551 For one month 128 Kbps unlimited downloads + Rs 551 for installation charge = Rs 1102andRs 1548 (for 3 months) + 276 (for installation) = Rs 1824His name was Sachin and Mobile no is 9811787806I just want to confirm that is this information true that they are setting up their service in my area and with the above packages or is this a fraud case?

Hmm.. sounds fishy.. check www.tataindicombroadband.com
and call up their call centre for confirmation of this plan you are talking about.

Definitely fishy. Currently I am paying 551 for 64 unlimited and I would be very surprised if Tata Indicom is offering 128 unlimited for that price anywhere. Make sure you check with their customer service about this.

Tata has waived off installation charges. I have seen huge billboards announcing this. so dont pay nething for installation.

For ZERO installation, the hidden condition is you have to pay for 6 months at one time.
