Configure Access Point In Repeater Mode With Adslmodem Router

go through manuals for both and see for bridge mode ..if its having go on.. else sorry it''s not for the purpose.

Hey I did that...but there is one problem i'm having full signals with repeater & is connected to net, but it on clicking links on web pages it says the page u have requested is not available off line, plz connect..it seems net speed has gone down badly, is it so???

make sure your browser is not in OFFLINE mode.. post output of ipconfig from your windows machine's command prompt

by essbebe- seems to be vista os.
In network settings disable ipv6
uncheck all unneeded options.
Select opbtain ip address automatically.
In dns try
opendns
208.67.220.220
208.67.222.222
by the way, are you trying to use two wifi routers
in repeater mode ? From gf to ff ?
i did every thing u suggested, but cudn't get any better. One moree thing - when i connect my laptop with repeater using ethernet 'internet rocks'. Problem is 'repeater---wifi---laptop'
to make u remember- i'm using utstarcom wa3002g4 adsl modem router & D-Link 2100ap as repeater.
Any urgent replies are really requested as i have taken this repeater on loan from a shopkeeper and i have to retturn it by saturday else i'll have to pay for it. And its wastage of money if it doesnt work great..

WHAT ARE UR COMMENTS ABOUT THIS SUPERPRASH2003..

Does D-Link 2100Ap show the name you had given to your WIFI network.
My wifi Netgear , shows connected , different
wireless network secured/unsecured ( including mine "KK" secured connected now and surfing ),
dlinkVwr650 unsecured , wi5 unsecured last three can be connected but no signal or surfing))
whether Modem input is given or not.
You can also check up in network settings
ethernet card configure Advanced
select AP mode or ssid mode and try.

For configuration purposes right now i'm doing everything on the first floor only.
A)- When in the range of WA3002G4 my inet on my laptop works fine.
b)DLINK 2100AP picks up very good signals and forward them to my laptop. (strength 90-100%). my laptop picks up signal from repeater very good and shows connected to internet but now that speed problem arises (when my laptop gets feed from repeater 2100ap)
Also if i connect my laptop tp repeater using ethernet there is no loss in speed and net works fine.
and yes 2100ap is showing the name of my network i,ve removed name of my network and mac addresses from links posted.

SINCE I WAS NOT ABLE TO GET GOOD ENOUGH SPEED WITH DWL 2100AP REPEATER I CHANGED MY MIND TO RELOCATE MY ADSL MODEM ROUTER. AFTER LOT OF HITS N TRIALS I HAVE WORKED OUT A SPOT IN MY SOHO WHICH SEEMS TO GIVE ENOUGH WIFI ACCESS IN MY HOUSE WITH MY UTSTARCOM ADSL MODEM ROUTER ONLY. I JUST NEED TO BRING PHONELINE TO THIS PLACE. (EARLIER MY ADSL MODEM ROUTER WAS PLACED WITH DESKTOP N I WAS TRYING TO PLACE THE REPEATER WHERE NOW I HAVE PUT ADSL MODEM ROUTER)

NOW THERE IS ONE MORE PROBLEM THAT IF I USE A WIFI USB ADAPTER (D-Link DWA 110) WITH MY DESKTOP, IT SHOWS ONLY 30% SIGNALS AND INTERNET SPEED IS VERY SLOW, WHILE AT THE SAME POINT MY LAPTOP SHOWS 60-70% SIGNALS AND INTERNET WORKS GOOD ENOUGH.
NOW EITHER I M REQUIRED TO LAY DOWN A CAT-5 CABLE FROM ADSL MODEM ROUTER TO MY DESKTOP (WHICH IS A BIT TOO DIFFICULT), OR ANY THING ELSE U GUYS CAN SUGGEST??
ALSO SUGGEST SHOULD I BUY AN ETHERNET READY ALL IN ONE PRINTER AND CONNECT IT TO ADSL MODEM ROUTER USING ETHERNET/ OR SHOULD I BUY A WIFI PRINTER AND CONNECT IT TO ADSL MODEM ROUTER USING WIFI. I NEED TO PLACE THIS PRINTER NEXT TO MY DESKTOP. WILL THERE BE ANY DIFFERENCE IN PERFORMANCE IF I USE ALL IN ONE PRINTER ON WIFI..??
