The Cisco STB that You Scod supplies has a major problem wherein the STB has to be reprogrammed every 2 months even though you pay subscription charges for the full year. Hence every 2 months you will get a message on screen for all channels "You have not subscribed to this channel". For reprogramming you have to contact You SCOD who have only one contact no. 022 40676869. This no. is continuously busy and it gets quite frustrating to get your STB activated once again.
Further Service is extremely poor. My STB, procured in Nov., 2008, has developed a problem wherein favorites do not get saved. A complaint was lodged on above no. after trying continuously for 3 hrs. on 27.05.2009. As of date they have not cared to come and replace the STB.
Hence please be very cautious before going in for YOU SCOD. Saving a few rupees in rental per month will only cause frustration.
