Poor service of YOU SCOD 18

All prospective buyers in Mumbai

The Cisco STB that You Scod supplies has a major problem wherein the STB has to be reprogrammed every 2 months even though you pay subscription charges for the full year. Hence every 2 months you will get a message on screen for all channels "You have not subscribed to this channel". For reprogramming you have to contact You SCOD who have only one contact no. 022 40676869. This no. is continuously busy and it gets quite frustrating to get your STB activated once again.

Further Service is extremely poor. My STB, procured in Nov., 2008, has developed a problem wherein favorites do not get saved. A complaint was lodged on above no. after trying continuously for 3 hrs. on 27.05.2009. As of date they have not cared to come and replace the STB.

Hence please be very cautious before going in for YOU SCOD. Saving a few rupees in rental per month will only cause frustration.
 
no its not like that.. always in day time also u keep ur stb in standby mode.....DONt TRY TO UPGRADE THE FIRMWARE...... if u do that then stb gets isolated from the server.....so... every three mnths the subscription expires but if u dont touch any set up settings or upgrade , the subscrip gets auto updated....🙂
 
Hi,In spite of keeping the STB ON and the TV ON, the STB stops receiving signals at the specified date and time. You SCOD have acknowledged that it is a limitation of the STB and the renewal has to be done every 2 months even though one has paid for the whole year.
