Broadband connection for LAN

Open the properties dialog of Local Area Connection in Network Connections (if you are using winxp). then open the tcp/ip properties and enter the required values

please dont check the connection speed from this site....if you are a dataone user you will be more than happy...but to tell you the truth its not the truth

if you've a DSL router, you can enable the DHCP server and set the IP range there. you can then select "Obtain IP address automatically" in the Local Area Network properties (TCP/IP)... have a switch/hub connect to the router and then connect your PCs to the switch/hub. when you switch on the PCs, IP will be automatically assigned.. you can connect a wireless access point to the switch/hub.. if you need wireless connectivity..
