it is not better or any thing but the only diff is that in ppoe you need to dial the connectioon but in brige mode the login info resides in the modem and once you switch it on it connects

Isn't it the opposite ? I think in PPPoE mode the login info is stored as part of your router configuration, but in bridged mode you have to manually specify an id and password through a network connection to connect.
