Need Help....Please advice

Hi i am residing at kolkata and using bsnl HOME 500C+ connection for the past one year.But from the past few months i m facing a very wired problem.The link in my modem is getting disconnected very frequently(every 10-15 mins).Also I m experiencing very less speed during the free night time(less than 100 kbps).I made repeted complains to the telephone exchange but they just dont bother and every time assures me that the problem will be fixed.And that day never came.I thought of changing the provider but in our area we don't get airtel or reliance connection.the cablewallas provide all jaali stuffs.And as internet is very much needed for my studied i will have to stick to bsnl.I am feeling verymuch helpless now.So can anyone please help me with any suggesions.Thankyou.........
