Pls Help

hi everyone.

i cant connect the 192.168.1.1 network. when i ping 192.168.1.1 it shows request time out. even in IE it says page cant be displayed.
pls help. what should i do?

i try to open http://192.168.1.1 from other network(Sify) it shows same error. the page cant be displayed. but sify works fine.

Check your computer's IP Address it should be 192.168.1.xxxwhere xxx can be any number between 2-255BTW why do u want to open 192.168.1.1- it is Router Configuration Page.You dont need that until you want to make some changes in the default settings of your router.

i put many ip from this range(2-255). my computer's current ip address is 192.168.1.12. but still it is nt working. when i m trying ping 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.2 it shows request time out.thanks

Oh! my GoD! This is So Funny!...i need to kill myself!Ok! dood...i recommend u reinstall your router driver and do the "add new hardware" thing...that all the help i can offer!

i format my HDD. after that i reinstall windows Xp pro and router driver too. but its nt working.thanks for u help.

I had a similar problem. Try changing your lan ip to 192.168.1.100 and Subnet mask to 255.255.255.0

its ur own local host 😕 cant be dead unless ur network card is not working.

Do you have more that one Lan card?That may conflict IP of your PC.try to check all IP of your pc with ipconfig commandRegards
