300MB free photo hosting

Came across the blogger photo faq.

You can upload 300MB(!) of photos free to your blogger account. Just wondering why they haven't started a proper online free photo hosting service like flickr or pbase. That would have been good.

I knew about picasa and its photo sharing feature long back but I thought it was integrated only with gmail and orkut. I wasn't sure if you could post photos online without any strings attached. But the catch is that you have to use picasa to u/l photos. Flickr doesn't require that.

well google is not exactly using hello and picasa to its full capacity... something should be in store now that yahoo! owns flickr 😉
