A consortium consisting of Railtel Corporation India Limited, Tata Indicom, VSNL Limited, INcable Network (Andhra) Limited, Spectranet Limited and Nuziveedu Seeds Limited.

Out of those, maybe only Spectranet has some credibility.

Read the article again. Nowhere does it state that 2mbit for 100 Rs is unlimited data transfer. Maybe they will have 2mbit and 50MB data transfer. Just like zee does(read my post about zee.)

what would happen to india 🙁 they just give the appetizer! where is the full course meal?

Heh rightly said, its only an appetizer. After you have had a taste (couple of MB) it is snatched away, untill you pay a huge amount.Ah ... a full square meal of Palak Paneer from a dhaba (read 64kbps) is much better than a spoonful of caviar (2mbps connection) 😀

3 minutes 20 seconds..I just feel like calculating things.

Its like drinking 2 drops of water from a bucketi prefer drinking sufficient water from a trumblerNOTE: wat sify does is it giver 2 drops in a trumbler

Whoa!!! All philosophers in here offering wonderful analogies.....but seriously......I think it's gonna b a real long time until read broadband arrives in India 🙁

heh.... speculation speculation.... let's just shut up and see what happens......

Sorry to say that broadband has arrived in India but is cramped, as always new technologies are, in India. Forget of having unlimited usage and flashing speed! Even operators claiming unltd. plan, have hidden clauses, high tariff or disheartening speed. Why hope for something which is impossible in this so called "techno-savvy" country ??
