2g support in huawei e353

I thought of buying Huawei E353 21 mbps modem.But before buying i need to make sure one thing.This modem will support "2G" networks or not.Pls help me in this regard.

E353 does not support 2g at all.I got the modem a few days back and it does not have 2g.But 3g speeds and signals are the best out of all the zte and huawei modems I have used lately.
 
If your signal is not too good and it switches back and forth between 3G and 2G (like in BSNL/MTNL some times),it is not advisable to buy 2100 MHZ only type Data cards. UMG 1831 is tried and tested in 21Mbps data cards. Around Rs 2400 unlocked version with some overseas Operator logo.There is a Huawei 14 mbps data card E series ( I forget the model no)that sells @ around Rs 1600 in Ebay. You can check it out.
