Big TV STB smells bad when it gets heated up?

At my aunts place along with usual problems of poor customer service, their big tv stb smells badly when it gets heated up.. Has anyone experienced something like that or its just that one bad piece of stb?

every electronic box for that matter smells after being turned on for a few hours.example try smelling a crt tv after being on for few hours it smells bad😱..or even your pc or adsl modem for that matter. well it could also be that you are experiencing true 3-D:thumb:.(eye,ear,nose)
