HI GUYZ MY NAME IS BALA , GOT IN RECENTLY . I VE GOT A SIFY 256 KBPS CONNECTION . I RESIDE IN VISAKHAPATNAM . MY OS IS WIN XP . IM PAYING AN AMOUNT OF 940 RS/- PER MONTH . THEY R PLACIN A RESTRICTION OF 150 MB LIMIT FOR DAYTIME . SO I JUST WANAN NO WHETHER PAYING A SUM OF 940/- FOR NIGHT TIME 'UNLIMITED DOWNLOADS' AND MORNING 'RESRTICTED DOWNLOADS AND UNLIMITED BROWSING ' IS REASONABLE OR NOT. I WANNA KNOW THE OPINION OF U GUZYZ AS SOME OF UVE BEEN IN BROADBAND FOR A LONG TIME .
 
Depends, if u r more into downloads then surfing, then MTNL Triband night unlimited is the best but I dunno if u gugs have MTNL there
 
it wud be better if they cap like 150x30=4.5 GB a month rather than 150MB a day....if they want to cap
 
4.5 gb limited download per month is always better than 150 mb limited per day.sify is company run by asses

:angry: you MAD?? Dont give sify ideas, its bad as it is, the 256KBPs plan actually gives you a lot more.

Day = 150 * 30 = 4.5
Night = 1150 * 30 = 33

Total = 37.5 Gigs 😀

I think thats more than adequate for most people.
 

He meant 4.5 gig daytime traffic per month, night time still remains unlimited. Now that would be good
 
yes,.,,,,i meant day time traffic..........per day limit is worse than per month bcoz i dont need to download 150 MB per day.....one day i may need 400 MB day time ....other day just 3 MB.Also we pay sify per month and not per day.......so if like my CTO's network is down fo 3 days a month i lose out on 450 MB.....but if the cap is 4.5 GB/month(daytime) then i can utilize that lost 450 MB on another day.........This gives user more flexibility, lesser worry about capping and almost similar end results to Sify

dont use ALL CAPS. And no its not justfiable to pay so much for a stupid 256K Sify connection.
