Hi every1,If u r 1 among those who dont make 2 many outgoing calls from ur cell then there is a new unofficial plan from Hutch (in Mumbai). Plz note tht this is unofficial. Just call up CC & tell them tht u want 2 go 4 this plan. Remember....u really have 2 bargain as they dont offer it 2 every1. It requires ur convincing skills.Offerings:-1 time Advance Rental of Rs.1000 for 18 monthsFree Caller ID for 6 months (Not given to all) & Rs.75 then onwardsZero Rental for 18 monthsRs.2 per Outgoing CallThe savings r huge 4 those who r already under Talk 150.In Talk 150 u wud have a minimum bill of 150 + 75(Caller ID) = 225 x 18 = Rs.4050 fpr 18 mths.In AR999 u only have 2 pay 4 Caller ID for 1 yr, thus u spend a minimum of 1000 + (75 x 12) = 1900Thus, u save arnd Rs.2150Believe me I have been successful in getting this plan. Also in past 1 have rcvd advance rental plans for Rs.600 where I used 2 get zero rentals for 6 mths.(Note: All above calculations r excluding Service Tax)

Better go for Forever 999 Prepaid

Exactly Postpaid is just waste of money. I have been on Orange postpaid for two years and now changed to Orange Prepaid 3 months back.Max there are many plans which they dont advertise(this is just one of them). These plans are offered to New Customers to attract them and available only thru Dealers and not thru Orange Shops(except on demand). They never want to leave milking their old customers that is the reason they dont advertise such plans.

wht abt the 299 plan??????..it offeres 50 paise per min call to all phones.......sms too???wht say guys?????and yup trai is presently looking at 999 plan with suspicion........is there any catch with it

D best way 2 deal with Hutch is just call their CC 1ce in every 3-4 mths & say tht u r going 2 discontinue with them & shift 2 Airtel & ask them whether they have any gud Plans. Believe me those ppl strately disclose those hidden (fishy..) plans. Using this technique I have been saving on my mobile bills from quite sumtime. Infact last mth itself Hutch gave me a reversal of Rs.588 (149 Rentals for 4 mths). So try ur luck. But I am damn sure tht postpaid turns out 2 b much cheaper than prepaid if u make very less outgoing calls.

The best thing is to use a prepaid card, hassle free and best value for money if u are an average user.Total cost control...!

Rs.2 per minute for outgoing calls is insane! I am happy with my yearly prepaid refill. It too is a rip off. I might just change over to Dolphin once again....

Dolphin is gud in roaming mode with its partner BSNL, else its n/w sux. Whenever u call a dolphin no. u rarely get connected. N/W is always congested.

It has improved but with Mtnl standards but still connecting in peak hours with dolphin is not possible. It has improved from worse to bad. It will take long time to change from Bad to Ok... 🙂

yeah. but atleast they are showing improvement. can't say the same for Orange!

MTNL or BSNL is present in every town in India. And roaming is cheaper with MTNL/BSNL.

If someone Roams a lot then best option is go for Mtnl/Bsnl bec there is no comparison of call rates and value for money, Mtnl/Bsnl is simply the best!

Agreed but still Orange is better in terms of overall comparison and it will take a decade or more for Mtnl to match up with Orange\Hutch\Bpl\Airtel.
