Airtel Bradband downloading speed

this is my downloading and uploading speed but when i download i get only 30 kbps speed

my IsP is Bharti Airtel Mumbai
ADSL Broadband - 256kbps

a year back i used some proxy software and it started downloading files at 120 to 150 kbps i dont remember how i did that but i really want full 256 kbps speed can anyone suggest me some ideas on this because my physical devices are getting burnt and electricity bill is increasing please help me out 🙂

256kbps=32KBps as one byte=8 bits.I'd say you are getting close to your promised speed as per your plan, and anything above that is probably a temporary speed boost.

oh so its not a permanent speed increase??? but is there a way to increase the speed to full 56 kbps or something ??? 30 to 35 kbps is like too low 🙂 just asking..!!

120 - 150 KB/sec is what we call speed boosts in airtel.... u didnt do any thing.... u just got those speeds courtesy AIRTEL..... u never know u might get boost some time soon...keep a look out for it...:thumbsup:
