Forgot router password

Friends, I have a BSNL DataOne broadband connection with MT880, I have landed up forgetting the password. At this point I have give up hope on trying to recall the password & trying to look up on how I could reset the router to factory configuration. I have tried to look up this on the vendors website for some strange reasons it was in accessible. Thanks in advance for all the helpRegards,Vinay

positron is right btw!but b4 u try somethini would FIRST Suggest you learn how to restore your modem AFTER your "Reset to Factory Setting"....i coudlnt figure wtf to do with differnt settings...as they will be erased! DNS Setings,etcif ur sure what ur doing..then go ahead! 🙂i am a triband user, so the D-Link 502t is the crap i deal withif u dont want to risk it!One VERY BLUNT way would be bruteforcing...though im not sure about Data1!

Try to recover the router password with Password Recovery software and then reset it. Or else, loose altogether.
