Will Sify Unblock pings?

MTNL Triband + TATA night u/l
Hey all.Back on Sify after 2 months,only coz MTNL is giving me crappy latencies.But Sify is blocking pings. Will they unblock them ? I already called them and chatted with a rep. The Technical team will look into it and call me back.Anychance they will unblock pings for me?Thanks.
 
nm.They only block outgoing pings, not incoming..cool.nice latencies.189ms to a server in melbourne..

sify allows pinging in our area . they used to block it b4r
