I have created a DC++ hub .If u dont kno wats a DC++ hub actually its a file sharing software .U can download frm www.download.com U can all join to my hubthe name of the hub is "danceripper.servemp3.com:8000"offcourse without colon this u can type in ur manual connect i have heard that people get speeds upto 4mbps so i thought why not try this.
 
Good idea there ... but I am not sure about the speeds, maybe a bit more than usual but not too high :/Rename it to sifyusers or something though... just my 2 cents
 
DOes it require to be logged in using the Sify Broadband client...or is it a direct lan usage without internet.
 
u hav to be logged in and it will not give ya lan speeds but normal downlaod speeds that u get while downloadin other stuff frm the net
 
Hi..I stay in Vashi (Mumbai)..I too have my dc++ hub.. its awesome, the speeds that we get are close to 150 kbps alltime...So if any of you are interested, please connect to my hub at 10.12.152.174:4000 Also there is one more hub 10.10.248.18:4000Please connect and try... ive created a hub at 10.12.116.14if u can ping my comp u can join...comp is on 24x7hub is on 20 hrs a dayif u cannot ping my comp within mumbai then temme ur dns servers/subnets so i can make appropriate adjustmesnts

hey mahesh i stay in cbd im unable to connect to ur hub.IS is on at night frm 9pm.As i have a night package.

Also if there r any hubs in vashi or any where else in navi mumbai.please let me kno

actually im unable o ping ur comp .my ip is 10.12.172.28.i stay in navi mumbai(cbd).subnet is 255.255.255.0
 
mebbe u shud change ur subnet to 255.0.0.0actually im nt great at networking...my ip is 10.12.116.14subnet 255.255.255.0cud some1 suggest any solutions?also is the SAM server imp?coz mine is 210.210.4.72

sid it wont help by changing subnet range . Routers are configured to block access between 2 sify ranges .
like 10.12.116.4 cant ping 10.12.172.1 (Yeah but there are hacks to overcome it 😉 )

ok u frm dadar my sam ip is 210.210.4.73.ip add is 10.12.172.28 subnet i think is same for all sify users
 
i think i can connect to u if we hav the same SAM IP...lik my frnds in matunga they hav 10.10.177.x ips...but theyr sam server is the same...so we can connect to each other....figure out a way to change ur SAM IP to 210.210.4.72 and v shud b able to connect via DC++
