Reva is a different thing. Its hardly a car. It can't go beyond 85 km on full charge, max speed it 65kmph. I can't speak for others, but If a car can handle two passengers, go up to 120 kmph, and gives that kind of milage then i am game. And petrol being 50 something Rs per liter (In Mumbai) does influence my decision  Dunno what Diesel costs here. How much do you pay for Petrol / Diesel per liter? Look at these videos, interesting:(You will have to login to some PC outside India).

Maruti 800 is one of the best cars to get around town. Very economical in terms of fuel and maintenence.

Yaa current price in India (15 lack) is insane, what I said was I might be interested if they start building it in India and sell at 3- 5 lack levels.
