broadband disconnected

I am BSNL BROADBAND user , last few days I have faceing a problame in broadband disconnected. fixt time of disconnection ( 10:00 AM , 2:00 PM & also 8:00PM) half n hour to one hour disconnected . My os is win98se. I fiend a virus through scan (virus name "sms.exe"), after scan my machine format , but no result. now scan to find a spam Hijakar browser. when anti virus auto update then automatic disconnected my net. I ping to BSNL defult getway request time out . BSNL officer come with laptop, there laptop connected but my machine not connected. machine to ping ADSL request time out. I don't understand this problame ( onboard lan , ADSL router, swich & lancable problame ) .
please help me how to solv this problame.

this seems to be a case of a virus infection. Get an updated version of anti-virus installed and scan your system in SAFE MODE. It's very important to do it in SAFE MODE.

I already 3times fresh load os. but no result. Tommrow face a new problame my hard disk (C:,D:,E🙂 3 drive, D:, & E: drive not show . How to remove this virus ? I 3 times break my heard disk partition no result.

For getting a hard disk in totally new condition, u have to format it but u will lose all ur data. Also get a updated anti virus.

hey mithun,,, dont worry,, it's a small memroy,, virus,,,, your data is not lost,,,, it'll just hide some of your drives..... go to microsoft customer care support,, through microsoft.com,,,, then virus removal tools,,, then select the name,,,, sms.exe,,, then download the file,,,, and execute it it'll kick virus out of your system.....

I think u have to upgrade the os. Install XP with Service pack 2. And install AVG 7 (its free) Then u will get read off that problem.
