How long will the Unlimited scheme last?

Initially Sify had unlimited plans but after a couple of months/years they took back all their unlimited plans.Now Airtel have unlimited plans and so every new broadband company are offering unlimited plans initially. How long do you think these unlimited plan will last?Will all of these broadband company end with limiting their plans?Tell your views.Thanx
 
heh. broadband is only going to become cheaper. and airtel has its own gateway. and they cannot force us to change our plans. so anyone on unlimited plans could stay on it until they manually get it changed. the point is, how soon will more companies get their own international gateways to bring more bandwidth into the country. and how soon does the competition becomes competitive enough as it has become in the mobile service segment.
 
Yaa, it would be difficult for any ISP to increase price or cut feature in a competetive market.
 
Umm...the plans are here to stay. People like me aren't going to compromise with limited plans lest the limited plans have an impractical limit (exponentially higher than the theoretical limit of the connection).
