Software giant Microsoft has finally released the first beta of their upcoming next generation office suite MS Office 12. This beta is only available to a private group of testers who are member of the Microsoft Beta service. Office 12 is one of the most important updates to the office suite application from the company and plans to change the user interface drastically making it easier for users to work on their documents.

i am waiting myself. it looks fantastic. i downloaded a 700 meg official microsoft video showing what has changed. and i liked it a lot.

i always have a long queue pending in a download manager. i do not keep track of my downloads. so not sure. i just found it downloaded one day and watched it. i guess around 70% of my downloads are still not watched by me on this PC.

Reports coming in from the media sources claim that Microsoft is now expected to launch the first beta of their Microsoft Office Live services in the coming days. This will not exactly be providing the customers an alternative to the company’s popular MS Office suite, but would act as an extension to it.

Apple Computers have finally unveiled their first Mac computers running on the Intel microprocessors. The company launched their iMac and a laptop, MacBook Pro powered by Intel Core Duo processors yesterday. Apple clarified that they have done nothing with their hardware to prevent it from running the Windows Operating System on it. However, they are not going to support any initiative doing so.
