Acer launches cheap PC in India

India is a growing market when it comes to internet usage and PC penetration. There is a lot of scope for PC manufacturers to setup a base here and sell computers in huge numbers. However, being a price conscious market, cheap personal computing products are big in demand. And to meet this, Acer has now announced a Personal Computer with a price tag of Rs 20,999.

whose gonna buy a PC costing 20000 bucks when Amchi PC and some other guys are selling PCs for 10K?

the point here is a brand. which is much better than HCL or your next door computer assembler. does not matter to us. but to corporate users and home users, it does 😉 not everyone has a cousin or friend who is a PC g33k. however, using linux for this machine is well... stupid.
