Any one ever tried to connect and use the VoIP ATA on login broadband connection without a computer in Indian condetions? Initially if we setup the connection with computer, latter on if we remove the same dose the VoIP adapter works fine?Is it possible to make/receive calls 24X7?I would appreciate if U can share your experience.

I had one set up... You need a computer to set it up. You need to fiddle with the modem to make sure it connects every time without problems. I have set a timer on the modem and the ATA to switch off for 30 min at night, so in case of an ADSL sync problem etc. the thing resets itself in 24 hours (this is a big help!).
But lately I have not been able to log into sipphone.com... Does anyone know if this is blocked by the provider? Can somebody download gizmo project from http://www.gizmoproject.com/ and see if they can log in... This is a good service by the way!
