I have installed the software included in my dsl kit to set up USB fro MT882,I did the configutation in my netwrok connectionsbut 1)I am not able to browse thr net as the webpages won't open after a long time wait, but the usb n link LED's are on.2)I tried pinging 192.168.1.1 it gives me "time out" so cant ping this IP also.3)but 192.168.1.100 pings properly.4) should I set some value for the netwrk adress right now i have given no value, could someone help me out here.

When you install USD driver, and you connect USB cable of Modem to PC, a Local Area Network Appear in Network Connections. You need to configure network address on this LAN for exa.IP 192.168.1.100SUbnet: 255.255.255.0Gateway: 192.168.1.1 (Modem IP)and DNS server also.Be sure that if You have other LAN card then the IP must not conflict with that.Regards

Dear

go to link http://192.168.1.1
click home
go to DHCP
enable the dhcp server
apply
save and reboot
and after that remove the lan settings of ip address as the ip address is given by modem bcoz u had enabled DHCP server .
