PPPoE connection setup

HI, Can somebody tell me how to setup using pppoe.I am still switching of the modem and turning on it when i need to use it.I am not using the connection window to enter userid and password.Can somebody tell me how to do that.I am using win2k system.I have also downloaded pppoe software from bsnl calcutta site.I dont know how to setup.Please help in this.

In winxp we have a defualt dialer in which we enter username and password. I m not sure whether u have the same in win2k . If yes set the dialer for a PPPoE connection and enter the username and password

Before that check you modem is in Bridge Mode. In case of Hauiew modem, it is called Bridge Mode. by default it is set to PPP, where ur modem does the dialing.
