220bx problem

I recently got a Beetel 220bx modem, and it works fine, my only problem is that it takes around 30mins or more to start up after I shutdown the computer the night before.Any way to avoid this?
 
you mean the ADSL link takes 30 min to come up??

It should take just 2 minute. Either you have got faulty modem or there is some problem in line. I will suggest to call customer care at 121 or visit nearest Airtel BB office and get your modem replaced.
 
There was a problem in the power adapter, a person from airtel came and replaced it.Thanks for your inputs.
 
even I had same problem, after replacing the power adapter problem has resolved...thanks for this info.
