Windows does not reserve any bandwidth for autoupdate! If you are talking about bandwidth reservation for QOS applications, there is some default reservation. To remove this, 1. Go to Start>Run2. type gpedit.msc3. 'Under computer configuration', expand 'administrative Termplates'. Go to 'Network' there. Go to 'QOS Packet Scheduler'4. Double click on 'Limit reservable Bandwidth'5. Set it to enable and enter '0' in the text box n say ok. I hope everyone else has done this since by default windows reserves 20% bandwidth for QOS applications, which is not necessary.Regards,Pawan
