Suddenly, since 15th of this month, I am experiencing severe connectivity problems in my MTNL broadband connectionI have called to complain on 1504 repeatedly and am assured everyday that something would be done, but nothing has changed in the last 6 days.Getting the connection is bad enough, but what is most frustrating is that there is sudden loss of connectivity. On going to 192.168.1.1, it shows, in status, under WAN, Virtual Circuit to be connected on Pvc1. I was told to make it Pvc0. On changing it to Pvc0 and then going to Home>WAN> it again shows Pvc1 which then again is changed to 0 manually by me and the WAN Setting is changed from Bridge to PPPoE/PPPoA and Configurations are changed and reboot effected. After that, as instructed, I have to go into TOOLs>System and settings are saved and rebooted. It works for a while after that, for some 20 minutes maximum or so, and then connectivity is lost again. Even the page 192.168.1.1 can't be opened.I have to disconnect the power chord and then reconnect it, and then again the above frustrating sequence has to be used to get connectivity for another 20 minutes or so, only to lose it again. Strangely, I find that it just doesn't progress beyond 21 mts continuous connectivity. Earlier it used to be absolutely fine and the screwup seems to have happened after the rains some two weeks back. Any help would be apprrciated. My machine is on XP- SP1
