just had a good experience with standard chartered. i was checking my account statements (still hard to get) and noticed a cheque transaction that i could not remember. customer care told me to file a request online. and they actually mailed me back a scanned copy of the cheque itself. had not expected them to deliver it! i was promised that i would get it within a day. it took them 3 days but it worked. it took dad around 30 minutes to remember that transaction however 😀 so it all turned out to be for nothing.
so got a mail from stanchart to redo my kyc and decided to go there with the form and ids.
turns out, i would have to submit another form to update my address to match my id. but kyc can be done only in november when it expires in their records.
