Well, the Operators dnt subtract the no. of prepaid mobile users who throw away sim cards n buy a new 1 very day....lol
 
6 months... a number is not considered dead for 6 months after it is no longer used. that's how it is. i myself had owned as many as four different mobile numbers during 2006.
 
they are unable to provide the minimum quality of services required by TRAI. forget upgrading to 3G. even if it comes, it would be way out of reach for most people in india.they have just announced the launch of mobile internet messaging. let's see how good this service is.
 
I am sure atleast that would be on par with international countries.
 


Bit better then in US.In US, its almost impossible to get GPRS on prepaid.
