Has Sify Blocked Access to torrents site with port 6969

it seems trackers with port 6969 are blocked from last week..

is there any solution to bypass this?

I was using other torrents - but the trackers with port 6969 are not working !!

error is "CONNECTION ERROR timeout."

any one else facing this problem.


will see one more month.. may be its time to find other isp in my area if they have really blocked.

In case the tracker is on 6969, use azureus,(advanced user Tools->Configuration wizard)
Tools->options->Connection->Proxy Options ->Enable proxying of tracker communications

Enter host and port addres which you can get from Anonymous Surfing & Free Proxy List
after entering confirmation in the middle of the page.

I do this and it works perfectly 🙂

why do sify sify block the torrents download we are paying for our net why are they bothered .time to change over to other provider.listen everyone change overthen maybe sify will think

sify should be sued.rather than changing isp you should take them to consumer court

not here.. in middle it was slowed.. but noe i get good speeds.
