Hi all,I just want to thank you all for all the support and info you have given me. I am happy to say that my connection is finally working. This post is from my bsnl b/b line 😀 I must emphasise that the success was in a large measure due to fact that i was well prepared due to the generous support of all the members here. I knew exactly what to expect. Even as was asking about win 98/xp in my earlier posts, my win98 started behaving erratically after i installed my ethernet card. I finally installed xp too as a dual boot. The xp os is stable with both the connection options.. b/b and dialup.happy to join the club.thanks oldtimer
