Is anyone able to open google.co.in?

All domains with .co.in are down and not resolving from any known DNS provider.

$ ping google.co.in 8.8.8.8
ping: google.co.in: Temporary failure in name resolution
$ ping google.co.in 202.67.222.222
ping: google.co.in: Temporary failure in name resolution
$ ping yahoo.co.in
ping: yahoo.co.in: Temporary failure in name resolution

Indian Government messing up? Or someone DDoS'ed in to co.in root registry?

It is accessible.
Noticed that google.com did not redirect to google.co.in, had to explicitly ask for it.

^ google.com used to redirect to google.co.in but later they changed it to make it more used.

You can use google.com. Their is no benefit of google.co.in I believe since google.com loads from Indian Servers for India (Load Balanced)

That should have affected only the registration aspect of such domains. But I guess knowing how Indians work, might have taken down everything coz "just to be safe".

I got an email saying they are moving .in TLD to some other manager maybe. Affilias used to manage .in. So everything has been stopped for now.
