At 2 Mbps you cannot stream 1080p without facing severe buffering issues. Minimum speed required for 1080p streaming is 5 Mbps.

2 Mbps is ancient, 5Mbps should be the minimum these days for a home connection.

I think if BSNL insists on applying FUP on fibre plans, then post FUP speed should be the 10 Mbps for 1277 plan & 5 Mbps for 777 plan.

I have applied for fibre, haven't got it yet but I am fearful of FUP limit.

Currently, I am on 10 Mbps plan and yet my daily usage is touching 15~16 GB and yesterday it peaked at 18.5 GB. That's why I am advocating for 10 Mbps as post FUP speeds. 2 Mbps is just unbearable.
