Low Upload speed on BSNL FTTH

Hi,

I'm on 50mbps plan but I'm getting 5mbps upload speed and around 55mbps on download speed. After talking to JTO he said that the upload speed has been configured by NIB office and he can not do anything. He said it's done because most of the users download much and upload less. :/

I'm confused. Can I talk to NIB office directly and ask them to reconfigure the speed? He also said that the speed is set to 1/5th of the download speed.

I faced the same thing. Then i showed the exchange office guy a speed test video of the same plan on youtube, then he told me to mail my grievance to their mail id. After that my upload speed was increased.

I have same problem with my BSNL FTTH but my Download speed is slow than upload speed. I have 100 Mbps Plan and i have done a speedtest on speedtest.net and it shows 10 Mbps Download speed and 90 Mbps Upload speed. Strange ????
