Airtel Digital TV - Good or bad?

I have been offered a free airtel digital tv connection which includes free installation and three months free subscription of Super value/ South value pack. I have bought a samsung lcd tv. Am not sure whether to go for airtel digital connection. Please advise. Shein Reviews

Can i settle for the local cable operators setup box for my tv?

airtel digital tv is pretty good. its probably the best dth in terms of hd channels quality and sound. its very reasonable too in comparison to other dth.
cable tv will cost you less but it all depeds on quality and service they provide
 
Local cable TV (with exception for big ones) mostly has much inferior picture & audio quality compared to DTH services. Don't blindly buy any DTH service. Take a demo and then decide which suits your requirements best. Airtel,Tata Sky & Dishtv+D2H are largest players. Tata Sky & Airtel has better hardware/software and overall service IMO.

Disclaimer: I am one of the first batch customers of Tata Sky. Happily using since 10-12 years.
