Freezing problem

For the fast 15-20 days I am experiencing the problem of freezing in my iptv connection- bangalore. IOL says it is unique as this problem exist only in two installation. Till date they could not resolve this issue. Can anyone help.

well there could be many issues.. first of all is your modem connected directly to the iptv or through some router or hub etc... is it wired or are you using it wirelessly?have you made your splitter connections properly? the telephone line from the telephone pole should connect directly to your splitter... all your telephones must be connected after the splitter.. there should be no telephone connected to the telephone wire between the pole and the splitter....this increases the signal ratio and you get a better signal which improves your broadband speed and your iptv service... Also if you are using wireless technology to connect your modem or router to the iptv STB then it could reduce the clarity and cause freezing due to the distance or the speed..

Thanks Superprash2003, The problem has been resolved partially (now the frequency is not that much) by IOL. According to them the problem cropped up due to some port at the BSNL server. Still they are working on it to get 100% result.
