Please Help me BSNL FFTH

Ok, now I got the FTTH connection without WIFI option.BSNL people saying I can use my old (D-Link)router and asked me to bring it to the BSNL office so that they can configure it. Shall I use the old Router or shall I buy the new router, If new router which one to buy? (They are suggesting me to buy MI one as it give me the full speed ) please suggest me the best one. Also, can I configure the router for WIFI without going to the BSNL office for configuration? if it so, any tutorials are there to follow, please ?? Please guide me. Thanks in advance.

Am in 1045 plan 80Mbps - 400GB After that FUP 8Mbps. They gave me an ONT, Router and a box 90 Rs rent for the Router and 500 rs for installation charges

Try this video. Although the router is a TP-Link one, the process is more or less the same. It worked for me.

Can I use Alcatel Lucent I-240G-D ONT Modem with BSNL FTTH?

I'm using the same. Just change the IP to 192.168.1.2 and disable DHCP and then plugin the LAN cable.
