BSNL changed Service Name for Broadband Plans

Earlier It showed something like BBG _Combo_UL_8Mbps_5G for 249 plan
now they changed it to ....

base service name did'not change for me. as you can see it was the same for me 6 months ago.

ya got it. the base service name was different for me till yesterday,when i saw this thread rechecked and saw it as
Base-I-H-8192 and the HB service i activated is not adding the data now. and the new
Base-I-H-8192 is adding data now

@InkTone yes i got the Happy browsing page on 1 September and successfully activated it..If you are not able to activate why dont you activate it manually or else tweet them on Twitter

It's been 15 days since i gave my application for BSNL disconnection and my landline is still working. Any idea how much time it takes?

@invisible007 i too activated it but after the service name got changed the HB promo stopped counting data and the newly added service is adding data to it.

the manual activation link( http://172.30.3.134:9090/ssssnpm//promotional.jsp ) when clicked gives a error as "Dear User, Your not Broband or FTTH type of User,Hence Promotion offer not subcribe". let me see what happens whemn 15 gb of FUP passes

@InkTone yes u r right data is getting added to the new service name , bcoz they removed HB service name .
for me Happy browsing working fine till now .

@invisible007 for me both service names are there, like i said data now its added to the new modified service name. hope they wont stop HB . if they do then many users might quit BSNL

yes if they stop happy browsing people will quit BSNL .
i too opted for BSNL due to happy Browsing.

Now i have a better option in my area , 10mbps speed (UL+ DL , DSL ) private broadband in 999 rs .
so if BSNL quits HB i will take private BB .
