So, I have been using normal broadband service all my life, suddenly I get hathway in my area in sector 16b dwarka , and I opted for 150mbps plan top plan. Paid 1750 for it for 2 months service.
Now, I get internet speed of like 48Mbps on fast.com and may be 50mbps on speedtest for domestic on wifi. If I connect LAN, I get twice the speeds on LAN. My router and laptop both have gbps port.
My router is Genexis Platinum-4410 given by hathway as connect is FTTH, so normal router won't work. My issue is with wifi. My link speed on wifi is 72.2mbps, see here on this screenshot :

with this link speed I get like 48Mbps on fast.com , What I want is, my link speed to be 150mbps (as I know my router supports that link speed) , if somehow I get that , i am sure my wifi internet speeds will get better. I have a router (Netgear) with which I connect my laptop gives me 150mbps link speed.
I researched a bit and found I need to change wireless settings to 802.11n or bandwidth to 40MHz , and change channel, I have tried all of that, but either my internet stops working or my internet works but link speeds remain 72.2mbps. I did research for the router documentation and it supports 150mbps link, but I am not able to get that.
I would really appreciate if someone can help me with this, even if he/she needs my laptop remote access to do it, that's fine.
I am sick of asking this to hathway tech or customer service as they don't know shit , they don't even know what link speeds i am talking about, they just say check on speedtest.net.... link speed is regardless of internet connection, it's just router to laptop link speed I am talking about.
Let me tell you guys, just in case if someone is wondering, if my laptop supports 150mbps link speeds or not, yes it does support as I have another router(not fiber one) - netgear in which I have excitel connection and when I changed the settings to 40MHz , it starts giving 150mbps link speeds
