Amazon Obhijaan is a 2017 Indian Bengali-language action adventure film written and directed by Kamaleshwar Mukherjee and produced by Shrikant Mohta and Mahendra Soni under the banner of Shree Venkatesh Films. The title of the movie literally translates to 'Amazon Expedition’ which sheds light on the plot of the movie. Set on an impossible adventure in search of the mythical city of gold, the daredevil explorer Shankar Choudhury traverses the length and breadth of South America, including the legendary Amazon Forest.
