works fine in the car. though like with google music, on my car, it fails to initialize by itself. have to press play button on the phone manually to jumpstart it if the app is not running by itself.

there is one major issue for echo owners. since there is only one device support... you cannot use it on the phone or computer, at the same time as echo. so i am not sure i can dump google play music as my echo is placed in a common area and my mom and niece use it regularly.

Chromecast has been there since couple of months on Prime Music for customers where Prime Music is available before India's launch.

Amazon supports Google Chromecast!?
I did not find Chromecast option for Prime Video, so asking. Else Chromecast works for JIO Cinema, Hotstar and YouTube.

Just a note: Lately I have been able to stream Prime video via desktop to chromecast with zero lags. Works both with tab or desktop casting. Of course, you can't pause via mobile or TV remote.
